Catherine cares for babies, toddlers, children and teens; All shapes and sizes of children and families. She has particular interests in developmental issues and supporting young people and their families. Acute or chronic illness during childhood and adolescence may challenging for all, but it can also provide opportunities for growth and resilience.
Background and Experience
Catherine joined Victorian Children’s Clinic in 2020 after running her own specialist paediatric practice in general paediatrics for 15 years in the Bayside area.
Catherine trained in medicine in Tasmania last century. She completed specialist paediatric training in Sydney, Toronto and Melbourne. For many years she worked as an Adolescent Consultant at Monash Childrens Hospital. She currently works at Alfred Health as Clinical advisor for paediatrics and adolescence. She is Medical Lead for RWH Womens@Sandringham neonatal team and cares for newborn babies.
