Dr MARCELLE SIMEONOVIC

Marcelle is a General Paediatrician with a particular interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. She is experienced in managing acute and chronic conditions throughout the newborn, child and adolescent years.

Marcelle completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, after receiving a Bachelor of Medical Science from the Australian National University. She interned at Western Health, then was accepted into the paediatric program after her internship year.

Her paediatric training was based primarily at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Monash Children’s Hospital. She has recently worked in the role of General Medicine Fellow at RCH, as well as Clinical Practice Guidelines Fellow, developing evidence-based paediatric medical guidelines that are utilized by doctors nation-wide.   Marcelle feels incredibly fortunate to be able to work with children to optimize their physical and mental well-being and achieve their full potential.

She engages children and their families with a gentle and compassionate approach.  She promotes multidisciplinary care, and works collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals, educators and community service providers.
